I Primarily Serve The South Metro Front Range Areas, Including Littleton, Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Castle Rock, and Parker. i  Visit Salons On A Quarterly Basis. Additionally, I Offer On-Site Sharpening By Appointment. For Your Convenience, I Can Provide A Loaner/Demo Shear While Your Shears Are Being Serviced.

My Scissor Sharpening At A Glance

  • Every scissor is inspected and evaluated before any servicing begins.
  • Scissors are disassembled, cleaned, and re-assessed.
  • The inside blade (hone lines) is hand-honed as needed for the scissor’s style.
  • The scissor’s “ride” is re-established if required.
  • Cutting edges are sharpened or convexed using high-precision guides.
  • Worn bearings and bumpers are replaced with professional-grade components at no extra charge.
  • Scissors are reassembled, and test cuts are performed for optimal performance.
  • The scissor “set” is verified and restored as needed (improper setting can cause hair to pull).
  • If “set” restoration is required, performance test cuts are re-evaluated.
  • Scissors are lubricated and tension-balanced.

Pricing

  • $35 per shear (up to 3 shears)
  • $120 for 4 shears ($30 for each additional shear)
  • $500 for an 18-shear salon package ($28 per additional shear) – requires a full day of sharpening
